Who is responsible

Anchorline Labs is a one-person business in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Roberto, the owner, is responsible for the personal information we hold and for answering privacy questions.

You can reach us at contact@anchorlinelabs.ca or +1-709-687-2360.

What we collect

If you send the form on this site, we receive what you type: your name, business name, town, phone or email, your message, and whether you're interested in social media help. If you call, text or email, we receive the information you share that way.

We collect only what we need to respond to your enquiry and prepare the preview or work you ask about. The form also has a hidden field to catch spam, called a honeypot. We never store that field.

What we use it for

We use your information only to reply to you and to prepare the preview or work you asked about. We don't sell it, share it for marketing or add you to a mailing list.

Your consent

Sending the form means you consent to us using the information for those purposes. When you call, text or email, we use what you share to respond to your request.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing contact@anchorlinelabs.ca. This may mean we can't continue with your request or work. Records we must keep under tax rules may still need to be retained.

Where it's kept

Netlify, a US service provider, hosts this website and delivers form submissions to us by email. Your information may be stored or processed in the United States and be subject to US law.

Emails are kept in our business mailbox through Google Workspace / Gmail. That information may also be stored or processed outside Canada. These providers handle information to provide the hosting, form delivery and email services we use.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become work are deleted within 12 months. We keep client records for as long as needed for the work and applicable tax rules. In Canada, tax records typically need to be kept for six years from the end of the last tax year they relate to.

How we protect it

We use reasonable measures to protect personal information, including access-limited accounts and 2-step verification.

Keeping information accurate

We aim to keep the information we use accurate and up to date for your request or work. Please let Roberto know if your contact details or other information need correcting.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, how it has been used and who it has been shared with. You can request access, corrections or deletion by emailing contact@anchorlinelabs.ca. We'll answer within 30 days.

If we need to keep a record under tax rules or can't fulfil part of your request, we'll explain why.

Questions or complaints

Please contact Roberto first with any question or complaint about how we handle your information. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes to this policy

We'll post changes on this page and update the date above. If we want to use your information for a new purpose, we'll explain it and ask for your consent first.
